We are 'Super Math Kids' 我们是"超级数学小孩"

秋高气爽,国际部在今天开展了一个特别的节日----“数学日”活动, 学校里的课程都围绕着数学进行, 清早小朋友穿着带有数学元素的服饰到学校, 有一些有创意的粑粑麻麻为小朋友贴上小数字, 变身“超级数学小孩”,还有些小朋友带来了自己喜欢的数学书籍和大家进行分享。

On a beautiful Autumn day, the International division planned a special festival, named “Math Day.” The outcome of this day was relating to math analogy and children wore clothes with math elements on them. Some parents were creative to design numbers on their children’s shirts, meanwhile, children also brought their favourite math book to share with the rest of class.



K1班级: 我们一起数数一只手有多少手指呢,一二三四五,五根手指能玩什么呢?哇,有个好玩的游戏:一根手指点点点,两根手指剪剪剪,三根手指弯弯弯,四根手指叉叉叉,五根手指变朵花。我们都是可爱的小花朵呢!

Let's count how many fingers there are in one hand. What can one, two, three, four, five fingers do? Wow, here's a fun game: one finger point, two fingers scissors, three fingers curved, four fingers crossed, five fingers became a flower. We are all little lovely flowers!



K2班级:在开展活动之前,我们邀请了孩子们分享了自己找到的数学元素。之后我们开始了我们的第一个数学活动:《毛毛猴》,这是一个找相同的活动,通过对比不同物品的特征,找到和目标物品一致的另一件物品。在经过了几次集体练习之后,我们给每位孩子分发了一张练习卡,让孩子能够通过自己的观察独立完成任务,锻炼孩子们的观察能力。

Before we begin our activities,we invited some students who found mathematical elements to share with the class. Then we begin out first activity.It’s a activity about finding the same things. We compared different things to find similar characteristics within them. The class practiced together then the students did it individually. These activities will develop the students observation skills.



K3班级: 《扑克牌游戏--比大小》 《Card game--comparing》

小朋友们仔细观察了扑克牌的内容,小朋友们发现牌里有数字,不同的颜色,和不同的花色。 小朋友们了分成了两两一组,平分一副扑克牌,比较牌上数字的大小。小朋友们运用了思考技能和沟通技能,通过游戏,小朋友们能够更加清楚了定义数字,数量关系,和他们大小。

The children observed the CARDS carefully. They found that the CARDS contained Numbers, different colors, and different patterns. The children compared the size of the Numbers on the CARDS with their partners. The children used their thinking and communication skills, they were able to define numbers and quantitative relationship more clearly through the games.
